Aishwarya Dhanush has dubbed for Reema Sen, in brother-in-law Selvaraghavan’s magnum opus Aayirathil Oruvan.
The ‘Kalaimamani’ award winner is making rapid strides in the technical know-how of filmmaking.
First, Aishwarya started learning the nuances of direction and production from ace director Selvaraghavan, when she joined him as an assistant. Like anybody else she was on the sets of Aayirathil Oruvan, and learned the hard way.
She has always understood from an early age how important the dubbing and lip sync is in Tamil commercial cinema. Her father the one and only superstar Rajinikanth is a legend mainly because of the mass characters he does and the hard-hitting punchline dialogues he says on screen.
The clarity and the amount of perfection he brings to dubbing, has made the characters life like and popular with the masses.
Ash, taking a leaf out of her father’s book, wanted to try out dubbing for Reema Sen who is the protagonist of the film.
During the shoot itself, she saw to it that Reems got her lip sync correct, and when she saw the rushes it made her job easy. Her voice and diction has enhanced the character Reema does in the film. Great job Ash, hope soon you will make it as a director.
